The Blog has a Makeover
For some time now I’ve been looking into changing the style of my blog. I guess I never really liked it the last time I gave it a new look and I think I did it to impress others more than for myself which resulted in me not liking it 100%. So I decided to change it again, after all, this blog is about ME and not them so I should choose a style that I am happy with which is why I took it back to what I feel is a more simple, fresh and classy looking style. I have wanted to change the main image of this blog and social media cover photo’s for a while now to depict what my blog Heels To Horses is all about. Stewarding at a Fun Ride makes me want to join in.
Today I have been helping out at Bissell Wood Equestrian Centre by being one of their Steward’s for the day during the fun ride. It’s the second time I’ve done this particular event; once before in the snow and sleet, and today it was cold and damp. The actual working side of things is dead easy. I have to make sure horse and rider’s cross the road safely and I have to check their number’s off a list to make sure riders are reaching my check off point. What a day today has been!
I had planned today to be such a positive forward moving type of day with lots of leatherwork to do and social media and blog writing to schedule but boy did it turn out to be way different......Firstly, I had the dentist this morning, it wasn't just a check up this time neither it was to have some x-rays, a filling and a clean but after numerous terrifying childhood experiences at the dentist I hate having 'work done' to my teeth......Then to top the day off I had to try and get one of our cars into a garage urgently which was proving to be more difficult than originally thought.…
